"CABHTS" means Composition Analysis Based on High-Troughput Sequencing.
Mitochondrias are important machines that provide energy to cells. They contain DNA that is essential to survival. The research compares a multi-species mitochondrial DNA database with mitochondrial DNA sequences from a unknown specie to predict the likelihood or relationship between them, and finally a fingerprint analysis platform will be established.
This project is in the guidance of Dr Fei Tao at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The platform is made by DaoYi Huang， RunZi Tan and JiaWei Zou with Dr Tao's leader and great help. The project started in September in 2017 and finished in March 2018. Limited by knowledge and ability of us, there may be some faulty and uncomfortable places in our platform. Any advices are welcomed, and we are going to do it better in the future. |
